Growing up we called these writing spiders because it was said they could spin your name into the web if you messed with it. Notice the zig zag in the center

My friend Polk lands a big stingray in Myrtle Beach The rod was spooled with 14 pound test the ray made several 50 yard runs, as the tourists gather around to watch. He was promptly released with great fanfare.LOL

Horses on the Beach near springmaid pier. For a few months every winter the city allows horseback riders to use the beach.
There are a few charity rides every yearcontact the State park for more details.

The sand castle was built in about one week before the Annual Sun Fun Festival in Myrtle Beach.
A motel was demolished on this site a few days before the world record attempt began.
