When he was younger, Robert Lindsay starred as Bill Snibson in the UK production of 'Me and My Girl' with Emma Thompson. It was so successful that it opened on Broadway, again starring Robert Lindsay, this time with Mary Ann Plunkett. It won three Tony Awards, including Best Actor. I've always admired Sir Edward Pellew in the Horatio Hornblower series, but I feel he was at his best as captain of the Indefatigable. So, I decided to do a video showing him as this, but was finding it difficult to fit a song to it. Finally, I chose "A Weekend in the Country" because the music itself is beautiful and the violin makes me think of Captain Pellew, so high and alone. *sigh*
