This cult cartoon follows two ducks and a pet robot at an amusement park in the future where time travel is exploited. Hugely popular in the 1970s, and available today on DVD at my website, www.funonmars.com
Haunted frog house cartoon with music by Danny Elfman, (pseudonym Mystic Knights), including the song "Don't go in the Basement." Animated and everything else by me, Sally Cruikshank. Available on dvd at my site www.funonmars.com
It looks much better on the DVD!
I also sell artwork from this cartoon.
Anita the duck buys a psychic device at a novelty store in an alternate universe and creates mayhem at a crazy party. By Sally Cruikshank, with music by Robt. Armstrong and Allan Dodge
Jimmy Buffett sings this charming song, "Caribbean Amphibian" in this Sesame Street special, "Elmopalooza" with Kermit helping on vocals, and animation by me. It was my first attempt at computer animation, and it shows, but there's some fun here too!
Reggae music in this classic Sesame Street song about the Island of Emotion. I heard that some children found it too emotional to watch though it's really very sweet. Animated by me, Sally Cruikshank.
This is my other favorite out of all the Sesame Street songs I did, based on the charming Fats Waller recording of same title. Believe it or not, the purpose of this song was to teach kids about measuring. I don't think they ran it very often.
I designed and directed these main titles in 1987. They were done at Playhouse Pictures in Hollywood. A couple of years ago I was driving with the radio on, and I heard Mick Jagger talking about how he disliked them. He sings the title song. Hah!
This is the last Sesame Street piece I ever did (boo hoo for me) so I guess they didn't like it. I was still struggling with After Effects, Painter, and Photoshop, but it has a certain charm.
I found this tv interview with me down in the basement. (How fitting). It was on 3/4" tape, rapidly disintegrating. I transferred it to DVD and got it finally to a decent format to upload to my new favorite place, youtube. It answers some questions people often ask me.
