Jimmy Buffett sings this charming song, "Caribbean Amphibian" in this Sesame Street special, "Elmopalooza" with Kermit helping on vocals, and animation by me. It was my first attempt at computer animation, and it shows, but there's some fun here too!
Reggae music in this classic Sesame Street song about the Island of Emotion. I heard that some children found it too emotional to watch though it's really very sweet. Animated by me, Sally Cruikshank.
This is my other favorite out of all the Sesame Street songs I did, based on the charming Fats Waller recording of same title. Believe it or not, the purpose of this song was to teach kids about measuring. I don't think they ran it very often.
I designed and directed these main titles in 1987. They were done at Playhouse Pictures in Hollywood. A couple of years ago I was driving with the radio on, and I heard Mick Jagger talking about how he disliked them. He sings the title song. Hah!
This is the last Sesame Street piece I ever did (boo hoo for me) so I guess they didn't like it. I was still struggling with After Effects, Painter, and Photoshop, but it has a certain charm.
