Balinese bamboo gamelan performed in the Tropenmuseum, Amsterdam during IGFA (International Gamelan Festival Amsterdam) on June 15th 2007. The group comes from the village Sangkaragung, district Jembrana, Bali.
A kebyar instrumental composition created in 1969 by I Putu Sumiasa. It was composed for the gamelan competition, held in Denpasar that year. Jayeng Rana was inspired by the victory of Gusti Panji Sakti over his enemies in the mid-17th century. You see the first part, performed in the Tropenmuseum Amsterdam on June 16th 2007 during IGFA. Tri Bhuwana Giri is an orchestra from North-Bali.

You see a fragment, performed during the Roots Festival on June 17th in the Oosterpark, Amsterdam. The Kecak consists of vocal interlocking, rythm and movements. It was great fun to participate.
