Pim Fortuyn (1948 - 2002) was the man who had almost become Prime Minister of The Netherland in 2002. Nine days before the elections he was assassined by Animal Rights and extreme left winger Volkert van der Graaf. The maverick politician became a rising star in Holland by his non-conformistic attitude, his way to express himself and giving hope to millions of Dutch to change the public system.
In the Dutch-TV programm "Jensen!" announced Pim Fortuyn that if he should be assassinated, the establishment would be as responsable for his death, as the killer. Two months later Pim was killed by extreme left winger and animal rights activist Volkert van der Graaf!
