The complete prototype circuit is shown here built on a single PCB. The reflector is made from PVC pipe with a rear mirror. EHT now slightly lower and the gap size has been reduced. Track is 'Hold Me Now' from the Thompson Twins - chosen purely for it's good dynamic range, vocals & clever percussion ! Connected the RGB LED's to a simple binary ripple counter. Some of the filtered audio is fed to the clock input, to create a sound-to-light sequencing effect. Looks really nice in the dark - It's a pity the camera doesn't pick up the vivid intensity of the colours.
