Een hele prestatie want de avonturier leidt aan een zeldzame ziekte, waardoor hij onder meer last van z'n ogen heeft. Met de tocht zamelt hij geld in voor een nieuwe kliniek in Moldavië waar mensen kunnen worden geholpen die ook aan de ziekte lijden.
