We never took classes with the late Gavito but just watching his videos impressed us a lot and slowed us down even more. ;-) This video was made by a friend in 2005. We would like to thank the great Gavito, whose philosophy we share. Melina Sedó & Detlef Engel, www.tangodesalon.de
The Milonga is a relative and preform of argentine tango. The Milonga con Traspié is a speciality of Detlef and Melina, something they conceive of as a dance very much on its own, requiring and facilitating specific body mechanics and small-scale dynamics. See more: www.tangodesalon.de
(3rd version, but the youtube synchronicity-proble m remains) A calm and puristically danced "Milonga sentimental" during a festivalito in Stuttgart, Germany. We would like to contrast it to the much livelier Milonga we posted a few month ago

Lucia and Ezequiel at the Festival in Luxembourg 2005. Although we did not take any classes with them, Lucia's dignity and composure impressed us a lot. There's a young women who's NOT trying to impress by overdoing the adornments! Posted by: Melina Sedó & Detlef Engel, www.tangodesalon.de
