The process took about an hour start to finish. Didn't hurt during or directly after the process, but they definitely hurt now.
Sample Footage from the Canon HG10 AVCHD HDD Camcorder. I got a rare chance to play with this camera and directly compare it to the Canon HV20, and I have to say I was impressed.
