That old good tune from Muddy Waters, played with the friend SEb.
I Play a Beard Road-o-phonic guitar, of course it's not the sound of the Tricone, but guys you have the dog on this one ;-)
"Down the road" was first recorded by the legendary Calypso singer Neville Marcano, better known as the Growling Tiger (1915 - 1993). This new version is at the crossroad of the swing and the calypso.
Music by Jim Petit
National hawaiian tricone : Paolo Conti
National tricone, vocals : Jim Petit
Can't resist to put this on line, this tune came while listening a lot of swing (pas possible?!), and I like so much the sound of the vintage tricone playing that kind of music, hope you'll enjoy too.
The same tune I've already posted, but there with my brand new friend Sebastien at the rhytmic guitar, gypsy style. We've knew each other for only 10 days, but I think it's the beginning of a good and "productive" friendship. Merci vieux!
Je vends donc cette guitare.
Il s'agit d'une lap steel Fender, modèle Champ Studio Deluxe de 1956.
The music is:
intro with clean sound, music by me.
then overdrive part, music by Rev. G. Davis
L'ampli est un LANEY VC 15.
A tune with my new guitar: a vintage National tricone squareneck (thank you Lenny).
It's definitively not "authentic Hawaiian music", but if you like this stuff you will love traduitionnal Hawaiian tunes.
Les "Manouches à Navier" play that nice theme from Mr Rheinardt.
n.b: no end for this one ;-)
(sorry for the bad sound...)
for Seb: "O'brother where art you ?" :-)
Being in Lyon in April to play with a Theatre company, I met my old friends Egon and Georges, and we took the opportunity to jam a litlle...
Georges tried to make me smile as I was playing, and he almost succeeded ;-)
