The iPhone 3g has some series issues/problems, not only with reception on the 3g signal, but the battery life blows seriously, the sounds you can barely hear in a some what normal environment. I can't believe they launched this phone. I don't think firmware can fix some of these problems, they may have to swap these out. The 3g signal problem is a world wide issue, not a carrier problem.
I returned the iPhone 3g today because all of the issues with the 3g signal, the sounds being difficult to hear at times and the poor battery life. I am also not a big fan of the touch keyboard.
Though the iPhone is innovative and has some great features, the features I need in a phone it is very weak in and I reverted back to my BlackBerry Curve.
Answers on where to go purchase your new iPhone 3g. There are a lot of conflicting stories on where to go. The Apple store or the AT&T store. The Apple store is only selling iPhones to certain qualified AT&T customers. They are not selling them to all AT&T customers. Check it out!
Apple is really an amazing company and they make amazing products such as the iPhone 3g, iPod, iTunes and all of their computers and OS's. Truly an amazing company!

After owning the iPhone 3g for one week, I am giving my update on it and addressing some of the original concerns I had with it; such as 3g reception/signal, alert sounds, and battery life. Also I will be discussing the new case I just bought for it.
Well I went up to Atlanta for work and I actually got to meet DRoadTrip!! We met up and went out for drinks Monday night and then we met up for dinner on Wednesday afternoon on my way back to the airport.

Is spending time to save a few cents worth it? I don't get the whole waiting in line to save a few cents on gas or anything else for that matter. I don't get wasting time on cutting coupons to save a few cents and I don't get the whole discount shopping thing, but yet having to wait forever in line or go out of your way for it. I don't get putting cases on nice phones, nice laptops or anything? Why does the manufacturer make good quality materials to build it with if people just cover them in a plastic or rubber case?
