I've read a lot of complaints about this chart/song, but it's actually one of my favourite after playing most of the songs on expert. My strumming hand was getting tired at some points, so it's not the best I could do.
Ever since I got into Guitar Hero, this is the song I've wanted to see in the game. Well, Harmonix granted my wish with Rock Band. I love playing this song, but I can't seem to beat my high score that I achieved on my first try! This is the final song for the guitar career.
Everyone but the vocalist on expert. Guitar - Me
Bass - Jeramy Pantera
Drums - WaffleZone
Vocals - WaffleZone's friend/relative (?)
Not my personal best run of the song and I'm not pleased with the solo, but oh well! The drumming kicks ass.
I was disappointed they re-recorded this since part of what I liked about the original was that it sounded nothing like Steven Tyler singing. However, the chart is fun, if not too easy, and Neversoft didn't abuse 3-note chords either.
For me, this is the hardest song in the game and the only career song I didn't 5 star on my first try. The solo is tricky and I didn't do so great, oh well, was only my second playthrough.
Edit: I've since destroyed this song and am hovering in the top 20 for the song.
This song's chord changes piss me off. I always mess up the YB chord for whatever reason and I get a 2.79x multiplier meaning I JUST missed 5 stars. For my 2nd attempt at the song, not bad.
I hate this battle stuff so much. This is my best attempt so far. Now that I've watched it closely, I probably could have made it if I used my powers at more opportunistic times.
I'm on guitar as usual on expert. Vocalist and bassist on hard while the drummer is on medium.
For those that wonder, I use the GH2 xplorer guitar and not the strat that comes with rock band.
Great new program that is coming out in February. This is the beta. Just started playing this today and it's incredible. You load any song and it makes a level based on all sorts of parameters.
I didn't know you could right click to make the grey blocks disappear, at the cost of points, until the song I played after this one.
