I hooked the IC-7400 up to a 1/2 wave CB pole (1/4 wave 20m) and scanned through 20m and found quite a lot of strong stations. I was using a battery to power the radio but it went flat (forgot to charge) and so I had to use the noisy CB PSU.
Recording of my local CB band - both UKFM and the illegal USB 'triple five'.
Note: I don't promote the use of illegal CB bands - it is illegal in most countries and is perfectly legal to listen to.

Just a quick bandscan, listening to a few nets and QSOs on 80m - shows the brilliance of the rig - got my longwire properly set up and actually connected it via PL259 to the rig ;) and it works great! Can't wait to get on the air and operate!
